CEBU CITY – As the Cebu City government prepares to launch its first 24/7 public service hub on April 6, 2026, two homegrown real estate platforms have stepped forward to show their support for the frontline employees who will keep the lights on while the city sleeps.
Filipino Homes and Rent.ph have provided shirts to all government personnel assigned to the night shift at the new 24/7 Government Service Hub, located at the Cebu Exchange Tower across from the IT Park. The apparel is a simple but meaningful gesture to recognize the dedication of the workers who will now serve the public around the clock.
“Starting tomorrow, the Cebu City Government will be operational 24/7—because true public service should never stop,” a statement from the two companies read. “We at Filipino Homes and Rent.ph are proud to support this initiative by providing shirts to all employees on night duty, as a simple way of honoring their dedication and sacrifice for our community.”
The groundbreaking for the hub was held on March 28, led by Mayor Nestor Archival and Vice Mayor Tomas Osmeña. The facility is designed to cater to the city’s approximately 150,000 BPO and night‑shift workers, allowing them to transact with both local and national government agencies without having to sacrifice sleep or leave work early.
Offices that will operate on a 24/7 basis include the City Treasurer’s Office, Business Permit and Licensing Office, Civil Registrar, and national agencies such as the PSA, SSS, Pag‑IBIG, PhilHealth, and LTO, among others.
For the private sector partners, the initiative resonates with their own mission of serving communities through accessible real estate solutions. Filipino Homes and Rent.ph, which focus on helping Filipinos find homes and rentals, emphasized that supporting public servants is part of building stronger communities.
“Salute to our government workers who keep serving even while the city sleeps,” the companies added.
The hub is set to open its doors at 12:01 AM on April 6, 2026. With the support of private partners like Filipino Homes and Rent.ph, the city aims to set a new benchmark for responsive, round‑the‑clock public service.
