The spirit of "no one is left behind" took center stage at HUE Grounds in Clark, Pampanga, as the Decathlon Foundation celebrated its 2nd year on June 2-3, 2026, by hosting the "Kayabe Ka!" sports inclusion event. The two-day gathering brought together members of the Aeta community from Sitio Target, Sapang Bato, Angeles City for a day of sports, empowerment, and meaningful community connection .
Themed "Kayabe Ka!" — which translates to "You Are Included" or "You Are With Us" — the program was designed specifically to make sports accessible to underserved and indigenous communities, breaking down barriers that often prevent marginalized groups from participating in athletic and recreational activities . For the Aeta participants, the event offered more than just games; it provided an opportunity to experience teamwork, build confidence, and feel truly included.
A Partnership Built on Community Development and Inclusion
The event was organized through a collaboration between the Decathlon Foundation, Hausland Commercial Inc., Hausland Urban Estates Corporation (HUE), and the Clark International Football Academy (CIFA) . The partnership reflects a shared commitment to making sports more accessible and inclusive for underserved communities while promoting active lifestyles and social development.
Distinguished guests included HUE and Hausland executives, including Chief Operating Officers Jerico C. Buñing and Gene Ryan Bautista, alongside representatives from the Decathlon Foundation and CIFA . The Aeta youths and families participated in a variety of sports and recreational activities designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, physical wellness, and social inclusion.
HUE Grounds: A Venue for Active Lifestyles and Meaningful Partnerships
As host venue, HUE Grounds continues to support initiatives that promote active lifestyles, community development, and meaningful partnerships in Clark, Pampanga. The open space, which has previously hosted community wellness events and corporate functions, provided an ideal setting for the Aeta participants to engage in football drills, relay games, and other physical activities led by CIFA coaches and Decathlon Foundation volunteers.
The Decathlon Foundation's mission focuses on using sports as a tool for social integration, education, and long-term well-being. By bringing the Kayabe Ka! event to Clark, the foundation extended its reach beyond urban centers, directly engaging with one of the province's most underserved yet resilient communities. For the Aeta children and families of Sitio Target, the message was clear: you are not forgotten, and you are part of the larger Kapampangan family.
