To promote proper family planning and provide an opportunity for the city's women to avail themselves of free contraceptive services, the City Government of Cavite launched a widespread and free Implanon implantation and extraction service at Cavite City MedCare today, July 3, 2026.
About the Cavite City MedCare Mega Health Center
The Cavite City MedCare Mega Health Center is a three-storey, 100-bed facility located in Barangay 28, Sea Breeze, Cavite City . It is a joint priority project of Cavite 1st District Rep. Ramon Jolo B. Revilla III and Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., with construction starting in 2022 . The center provides outpatient, diagnostic, birthing, emergency, and pharmacy services to residents of Cavite City and nearby areas .
Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa described the facility as the "biggest health center in Calabarzon Region with complete facilities" and pledged to work on the immediate provision of additional health equipment to ensure its efficiency . The facility officially opened its doors to the public in September 2024.
