DAVAO CITY — The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office-Davao has brought a vital government service directly to the doorsteps of the city's most vulnerable residents. In line with the theme "Bringing Public Services Faster and Closer to People," PSA-Davao conducted house-to-house National ID registration for senior citizens unable to visit registration centers due to mobility and accessibility concerns. The initiative ensures that age and physical limitations do not become barriers to inclusion in the national identification system.
Alongside the registration drive, PSA-Davao conducted a National ID Information Awareness Campaign to educate Dabawenyos on the importance and uses of the National ID. The discussion highlighted the value of both the Digital National ID and the paper version in helping Filipinos access government and private services more conveniently and securely. Through this initiative, PSA-Davao strengthens its commitment to accessible, inclusive, and people-centered government services for vulnerable sectors.
Registration Targets Exceeded Across the Region

The figures highlight PSA's unwavering commitment to establishing a robust, inclusive, and secure identification system.
A Foundation for Inclusive Access
The National ID serves as a vital document that facilitates easier access to government services, promotes financial inclusion, and contributes to national security. For seniors, possessing a valid government ID simplifies transactions ranging from pension claims to healthcare access. PSA-Davao's proactive approach ensures that no Filipino is left behind in the digital age.
Residents who have yet to register are encouraged to visit their nearest Registration Center and take advantage of the free service.
