Mindanao’s industrial landscape is officially entering a new era with the groundbreaking of the region's first CentralHub in Barangay Lasang, Davao City. This massive ₱1.2 billion project is a landmark collaboration between homegrown real estate leader Alsons Development and Investment Corporation (Alsons Dev) and DoubleDragon Properties Corporation. Strategically located within a 6.2-hectare complex, the facility is designed to address the urgent demand for modern industrial infrastructure. Local leaders, including Davao City Vice Mayor Rodrigo "Rigo" Duterte II, have lauded the project for its potential to boost business efficiency and create numerous jobs for the community.
Once completed, CentralHub Davao will boast over 40,000 square meters of leasable space tailored for high-stakes operations like cold storage, light manufacturing, and large-scale warehousing. Its location along the Pan-Philippine Highway offers unparalleled access to key gateways such as the Sasa Port and the Francisco Bangoy International Airport. According to Alsons Dev President and CEO Miguel A. Dominguez, this development reflects a shared vision to provide the backbone for Mindanao’s economic expansion.
