DUBAI, UAE – FHI Global Property, the international arm of Philippine real estate network Filipino Homes, partnered with Azizi Developments held a New Agent Orientation on March 28, 2026. The event drew dozens of Overseas Filipino Workers eager to transition into real estate careers amid growing economic uncertainty.
The orientation was the latest initiative under the partnership between Filipino Homes and Azizi Developments, which began in 2025 when Filipino Homes founder and CEO Anthony Gerard O. Leuterio became a licensed property broker in Dubai, enabling the company to legally operate in the UAE through FHI Global Property.
“OFWs in Dubai Are at War”
In a social media post that captured the urgency of the event, Filipino Homes Dubai described the gathering as a declaration of resilience:
“OFWs in Dubai are at WAR! But not with weapons, kundi sa laban para sa mas stable at mas magandang future.”
Against a backdrop of regional conflict, inflation, and job insecurity, the orientation aimed to equip participants not with arms, but with “kaalaman, strategies, at tamang mindset”
The training covered the essentials of starting a real estate career from scratch, including property market fundamentals, lead generation, digital selling techniques, and client acquisition strategies.
A Partnership Built on Cross‑Border Opportunity
Azizi Developments, one of the UAE’s largest private developers with over 45,000 homes delivered and 150,000 units under construction, provided the venue at its Conrad Hotel sales gallery. The developer is behind iconic projects such as Burj Azizi, Azizi Riviera, and Azizi Venice.
For Filipino Homes, the partnership with Azizi represents a two‑way bridge: Philippine‑based brokers can market Dubai properties through FHI Global Property, while OFWs in the UAE gain access to professionally managed pathways into real estate careers.
“We can now collaborate with developers in both countries, leveraging our globally competitive systems and platforms,” Leuterio said when announcing the UAE expansion. “Filipino Homes is ready to facilitate business both ways—selling Dubai properties in the Philippines and Philippine properties to Dubai‑based investors.”
From OFW to Real Estate Professional
Participants who complete the orientation are invited to join Filipino Homes’ agent development program, which includes unlimited commission potential, travel and car incentive programs, property incentives, and ongoing mentorship.
The March 28 orientation exemplified a broader movement among OFWs: using their time abroad not merely as wage earners but as entrepreneurs building businesses and assets.
“Lilipas din ang pagsubok na ito. At pagdating ng panahon, babangon tayo na mas matatag, mas matapang, at mas handa,” Filipino Homes Dubai wrote, rallying the community.
