The Cavite Career Caravan is a flagship employment initiative of the Provincial Government of Cavite, organized through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Migrant Workers, and local government units . The June 25 stop at Maragondon Municipal Plaza is part of a series of caravans held across the province this year . Recent stops include the Noveleta Town Plaza on June 4, the Amadeo Municipal Hall on April 23, SM City Tanza on April 1, and The Porta Mall in General Mariano Alvarez on March 11 . The GMA leg saw 345 applicants register, with 51 jobseekers hired on the spot through 52 participating companies—45 local and 7 overseas recruitment agencies—offering a combined total of 9,418 job vacancies.
