The latest Cavite Career Caravan took place on June 25, 2026, at the Maragondon Municipal Plaza, bringing local and overseas employment opportunities directly to jobseekers in the municipality.
Bringing Jobs Closer to Cavite Communities
The Cavite Career Caravan is a flagship employment initiative of the Provincial Government of Cavite, organized through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Migrant Workers, and local government units . The program travels across the province's municipalities, making job opportunities accessible to Caviteños who may not have the means to travel to Metro Manila for employment.
The June 25 stop at Maragondon Municipal Plaza is part of a series of caravans held across the province this year . Recent stops include the Noveleta Town Plaza on June 4, the Amadeo Municipal Hall on April 23, SM City Tanza on April 1, and The Porta Mall in General Mariano Alvarez on March 11 . The GMA leg saw 345 applicants register, with 51 jobseekers hired on the spot through 52 participating companies—45 local and 7 overseas recruitment agencies—offering a combined total of 9,418 job vacancies.
On-the-Spot Hiring and Career Support Services
A key feature of the Cavite Career Caravan is its on-the-spot hiring component. Jobseekers can directly interview with employers and secure employment on the same day they apply . The event also includes career coaching sessions covering resume writing, interview skills, and awareness of illegal recruitment practices .
The program targets both local and overseas employment, connecting jobseekers with opportunities ranging from entry-level positions to skilled roles across industries such as manufacturing, retail, services, and overseas employment. Government agencies like the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine National Police (PNP) are also present to offer clearance processing services . With the provincial government committed to bringing these opportunities closer to communities, the Cavite Career Caravan continues to serve as a vital bridge between employers and jobseekers across the province.
