Ayala Land, Megaworld, Villar Land, and other major developers are investing billions in Cavite through transformative projects like Evo City, Vermosa, Maple Grove, and Villar City, creating thousands of jobs and economic opportunities.
Ayala Land and Megaworld Lead the Charge
Ayala Land continues to strengthen its Cavite presence through two major township projects. Evo City in Kawit spans 200 hectares and features campus-type BPO office buildings, residential neighborhoods, and Ayala Malls Evo City, which is slated to open in 2026 . The estate is also anchored by a 1,000-seat church designed by renowned architect Dominic Galicia. In Imus, Vermosa is a massive 700-hectare project built around an active lifestyle, featuring the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub with an Olympic-size pool, a track oval, and a bike trail, alongside the country's largest Landers Superstore.
Megaworld is equally ambitious, focusing on Maple Grove in General Trias, a 140-hectare "green city in the south" designed to establish the area's first central business district . The township features the exclusive Maple Grove Park Village, where 85 percent of residential lots are already sold, with prices ranging from PHP20.4 million to PHP37.1 million . Megaworld is also investing around PHP10 billion to build new lifestyle malls across its provincial townships, including the Maple Grove Mall in General Trias, adding over 150,000 square meters of retail space to its portfolio.
New Players and Landmark Projects Reshape the Province
Villar Land's ambitious Villar City spans 3,500 hectares across 14 towns and cities, envisioned as a metropolis featuring 15 satellite cities with extensive sustainable green spaces . Meanwhile, GT Capital's Federal Land is developing Riverpark in General Trias, a 600-hectare township that will house a 15-hectare Ateneo de Manila University campus, a Uniqlo Logistics Facility, and SM City General Trias, which is scheduled for completion in 2027 .
The transformation also includes the redevelopment of the former Island Cove property in Kawit. EEI Corp., backed by the Yuchengco family, acquired the 49-hectare property for PHP2.8 billion and plans to redevelop it into a fully integrated property and infrastructure development . Century Properties Group is also expanding its footprint with the launch of Cerulean Residences, a 25-hectare house-and-lot development in General Trias, alongside a new PHirst Park Homes project in the same city . These massive investments collectively signal strong developer confidence in Cavite's long-term growth potential.
