Smart Irrigation and Drought-Resistant Grasses Lead the Green Revolution
The certification reflects years of deliberate work to reduce the environmental footprint of a sport often criticized for high water consumption. Mimosa Plus selected drought-resistant grass varieties — Zoysia Zeon and Trinity — that require significantly less water than traditional turf grasses . The course also implemented the Rainbird IC system, which allows management to remotely and precisely control water consumption, ensuring that not a drop is wasted.
Beyond water conservation, the course has introduced tree-tagging technology to monitor the health of its flora and has begun propagating plant nurseries internally rather than sourcing from external suppliers .
