PAMPANGA — The Sy family is doubling down on Clark. SM Offices, the commercial leasing arm of SM Prime Holdings Inc., announced a ₱700 million investment for Tech Hub Tower 11, a nine-story expansion at the SM City Clark Complex in Angeles City . The move comes as the existing 10-tower Tech Hub complex reached full occupancy, with global IT-BPM firms and multinational companies locking in long-term leases across more than 100,000 square meters of office space .
“The full utilization of Clark Tech Hub underscores sustained demand for global-standard, sustainable workspaces outside Metro Manila,” said Alexis L. Ortiga, vice president and head of SM Offices. “It also affirms the strong positioning of SM City Clark Complex as a major regional business district”.
Tower 11: A Vertical Expansion with a Sky Garden
The new nine-story tower will inject approximately 20,000 square meters of premium leasable space into the already packed development . But what makes this tower different is what sits on top. The building will feature a massive 12,000-square-meter sky garden designed to promote employee well-being, collaboration, and everyday connectivity .
Sustainability is woven into the design. Tower 11 will carry solar energy systems, greywater reuse technology, low-flow fixtures, and indoor air quality upgrades . These features cut operating costs while making the property more attractive to multinational tenants bound by strict corporate compliance standards . Waste management programs covering paper, plastics, electronic waste, and used lead-acid batteries round out the eco-friendly package.
Why Clark? Connectivity and a Seamless Commute
The tower sits directly above the SM Clark Skylink terminal, a key transit node that will connect to Clark International Airport by 2028 via the North-South Commuter Railway . Once operational, the railway will cut travel time from Clark to Malolos from over an hour to just 30 minutes, making the daily commute faster and more predictable for thousands of workers .
The SM City Clark Complex is more than just office towers. It already hosts SM City Clark, National University, SMX Convention Center, and Park Inn by Radisson Clark . With Tower 11, the complex becomes an integrated ecosystem where employees can work, shop, study, attend events, and even book a hotel room — all without leaving the property. For Kapampangans looking for career opportunities outside Metro Manila, this expansion signals that global companies are planting long-term roots right in their backyard.
