Advocacy Takes Center Stage
Beyond the glitz, the pageant placed heavy emphasis on the candidates’ commitment to social causes. Throughout the competition, the women presented platforms addressing education, livelihood, and youth development in their barangays. The advocacy component carried significant weight in the final judging.
The evaluation process, which included a dedicated Advocacy Competition on June 15 and closed‑door interviews, ensured that substance matched style. Organizers designed the pageant as a launchpad for women who will serve as goodwill ambassadors for Tagbilaran City. The winners are expected to lead community projects and inspire other young women throughout their reign.
A Festival Rooted in Unity
The pageant formed a highlight of the Saulog Tagbilaran 2026 celebration, which carries the theme “One Family, One City.” The festival honors the city’s heritage while fostering a spirit of collective progress. The coronation night drew families, local officials, and cultural enthusiasts to the gymnasium.
Mayor Jane Yap served as pageant chairwoman, working alongside Pageant Director Alexis Joseph Cadeliña and Creative Director Chris John Rener Torralba to elevate the production. Their vision transformed the event into more than a beauty contest—it became a celebration of leadership and community pride. The newly crowned queen and her court will now represent the city at various events and initiatives throughout the year.
