MAKATI CITY — Thousands of corporate runners are expected to fill the streets of Makati and BGC on June 7, 2026, as the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) stages its much-anticipated #BestLifeRun Corporate Race. Beginning at 3:00 AM from Ayala Triangle Gardens, the event has become a prominent fixture in the city's sports tourism scene, attracting teams from more than 100 companies across the country.
Race Categories and Community Spirit
Participants of varying fitness levels can choose from four race distances: 3KM, 5KM, 10KM, and the demanding 21KM half-marathon, offering options suited to different goals and abilities. Designed as a team-based event, the race requires each participating company to field at least four members, encouraging teamwork, camaraderie, and friendly competition among colleagues. Special recognition will be given to the fastest corporate teams and outstanding individual runners, adding excitement to the event. Beyond the competition, participants can explore a vibrant race village featuring interactive booths, engagement areas, and post-run activities, creating a fun and memorable experience for runners and supporters alike.
Celebrating 175 Years of Community Wellness
This year’s edition carries added significance as it forms part of BPI’s 175th anniversary celebration. Through the event, the bank continues to promote teamwork, wellness, and community engagement. BPI Chief Human Resources Officer Gina Eala emphasized that the run is more than a competition, highlighting resilience and a collective commitment to healthier lifestyles.
