TAGUIG CITY – Starting April 1, 2026, service on the BGC Bus route to Arca South is temporarily suspended. As stated by BGC management the move allows them to “scrutinize its routes and prioritize services within the BGC property to ensure efficient operations.”
Although changes impact those moving between Arca South and surrounding areas, experts watching travel trends suggest focusing shuttle routes within Bonifacio Global City may support its rising visitor count. Within BGC large hotels exist alongside restaurants and shopping centers - arranged in a compact design suited for walking.
Management added that they are “working on more sustainable route options,” Signaling that these changes might enhance access for visitors when the new BGC subway stations become operational.
For travelers staying in or visiting BGC, existing alternatives include ride-hailing apps when feet are exhausted. Cyclists can pick up shared bikes scattered across zones. These elements, combined quietly over time, shaped the area into a go-to spot - not just for meetings but also for relaxed exploration.
